Deputy Project Manager

Ekin holds a B.A. in International Relations and an M.A. in Political Theory with a certified specialisation in EU immigration and asylum law and policy (European Commission and Université libre de Bruxelles). She has been working for several years at the intersection of NGOs, migration and gender issues and has had the opportunity to learn about advocacy and lobbying, civil society, democratisation and the Rule of Law, and gain experience in human resources and project management.

Her personal and professional journey interweaves her own migration story to Germany and a crucial thread of work experience on NGOs, (forced) migration, and gender dynamics over several formative years. Driven by an unwavering commitment to human rights, she advocates for an intersectional perspective in shaping a just world.

In Handbook Germany: Together, she works as a deputy project manager and supports the entire team to ensure the successful implementation of project missions. Together with the project manager, she is responsible for work quality and human resources management. She is also responsible for communication with sponsors, stakeholders and network partners.
